Currently hailed as Yoga for the 21st Century, Gyrokinesis is best described as a mixture of Tai Chi, Yoga, Gymnastics and Dance. It is fast gaining credibility in the UK with the likes of Madonna and other A-list celebrities practising the method. Due to its low impact nature, Gyrokinesis is suitable for people with injuries. It is designed to create flexibility and strength in the muscles whilst cleansing the system with specific breathing patterns and detoxifying the body. The method has a flowing, dance like quality that will build stamina and control. This workshop will cover the key principles of the technique as we flow through the basic level one beginners matwork.
